Statistics is a branch of science that deals with collection, organization and analysis of data from the sample to the whole population. The role of statistics in research is to function as a tool in designing research, analyzing its data and drawing conclusions there from. Most research studies result in a large volume of raw data which must be suitably reduced so that the same can be read easily and can be used for further analysis.
If more research works and its publications are done, surely it will help the science of life- Ayurveda to gets its maximum reach. The incorporation of this topic to BAMS syllabus is to create aptitude towards the research work that helps our science.
